Unfortunately, this realization came a while after I’d already sold my decent full set before I moved up north from from Florida with very limited moving space in my uhaul, and the misconception that there wouldn’t be much golfing in the Snow Belt. By the time spring finally arrived, and fueled by a longing to play again, I began by purchasing an individual driver, putter, pitching wedge, utility wood, before I wised up and resorted to the internet for a sufficient irons and woods. To cut to the chase, my search, for irons anyways, lead me eventually to Hirekogolf.com and the Dynacraft Prophet Tour Blade Iron set in particular. While I was initially drawn to them by the stylish online pictures and scientific mumbo jumbo that had gone into their seemingly marvelous creation, my only true hesitation was in using blade irons period.

Truth be told I’ve struggled in terms of consistency with every Iron I have ever held in my quivering hands, and had ended up going the hybrid route with my last set, which actually made me progressively worse. The sad fact of the matter was that as much as they increased my power and distance, they seemed to cause my accuracy and control to diminish. Nevertheless, I took the plunge and decided to purchase custom 3,5,6, and 9 irons for starters, and upon recieving them took them straight to the nearest driving range that evening, for a test. Sure they looked wonderful, and everyone likes to be the guy in the group with the clubs that look good enough to die for, but being no scientist myself, there was only one way to find out how the adjusted “center of gravity” and maticulously engineered “stability shot” would help my game. It took a few swings to get used to it, but honestly, my early shanks and unintended slices looked almost as good as my typical shots with my old sets, and quite a bit better than the rentals! They have a lighter feel than most blade irons i’ve encountered, yet, seem to have a great deal more power, are not even comparable in terms of control.

We have seen the best golfer in the world become probably the most hated person in the world. Tiger Woods should be first in every tournament. He is the number one golfer in the world. Seeing him become mortal was very humbling. He became someone who will not win every tournament. Now you are seeing the other mortal golfers come to life. You are seeing all the golfers who believe they have the chance to win this tournament believe they can.

Phil Mickelson has now surpassed Tiger now. he is the number one golfer in the world. His tragedies have become a focus point for his success. His beautiful wife and mother fighting cancer has made him see what the world is about. He is a class act and he has but all of his raw emotion into his work. You are also seeing the older golfers play really well on the tour. You are seeing Greg Norman and Tom Player become a force again. Ernie Els is a very classy man who has been playing his best golf in a very long time.

Even all of the young golfers like Jason Choi will compete at this tournament. He will challenge all of the top golfers for the top prize. As we are seeing before our eyes one of the greatest golfers in our time and maybe ever will have to stand up and face his fear of not being the best ever. Tiger will challenge Phil who is on such a roll and has been his best golf in a very long time. Tiger’s short game has been poor in the last tournament where all of the other golfers have been playing there best short games.

I would like to see John Daley play well on this tournament. His drives are so amazing, he might have the best drive i have ever seen. he is such a powerful man you would think he could win more tournaments. As the golf season continues I will be watching how these few players are going to do at the World Series of Golf. Tiger Woods and how he will handle the pressure and believe in himself again. How Ernie Els will play with his great short game. I wonder how Phil will play when the pressure is not on him to win a match. I would like to see Jason Choi but in a great effort.

Taylor Made has spared no expense in the development of their irons. They started off right with their ground breaking inverted cone technology. This process is meticulously done by an computer numerical control system better known as CNC to the back of the club giving them the ability to control the thickness of the club face.

Taylor Made didn’t just spend all their efforts on the outside of the clubs. Apparently the genius’s over there have heard the saying “It’s what’s on the inside the counts”, because they applied a significant amount of time on the inside also. Three key things are that the club now has localized shock absorber, multi-material badge, and soft fell foam. These three key things coupled with inverted cone technology make for one of the best, if not the best irons on the market today. If you are looking for new irons or are just wanting to improve your golf game I highly recommend taking these irons out for a round of eighteen holes. You will be impressed by the control and distance these clubs give from the first time you pull one out of you bag.

By far Taylor Made irons are leaps and bounds ahead of the industry and it proven time and time again in the construction and finish in the clubs. On the subject of finish Taylor made offers a full line of custom fitting options. This will give you the ability to “Taylor Fit” your Taylor Made irons to your specific shaft flex, weight, and torque settings. Just another reason why these irons are continually being mentioned in the same sentence with words like “crafted to perfection”. It only takes one ball with any of these irons and like a bad shot you will be hooked. Please don’t take my word for it find out for yourself. That is if you are in the market for new irons and if not I’m sure after one shot you will be looking for a reason for new ones. I love winning and that’s why the only clubs I leave the club house with is Taylor Made irons and Drivers.

With 70%-80% of the strokes throughout a round of golf played from a short distance. Practicing your putting. And having the proper putter to shed those strokes is recommended. Some experienced golfers go through a couple of putters a year. Hoping to knock a couple strokes off by years end. To save yourself the time and money of seeking a new sweet putter. We have done the grunt work for you.

Two of the most popular and top quality models. Based upon customer rating and reviews are the Odyssey White Hot Series. And the NIKE Blue Chip Series. Golf, like poker, is very much down to personal style, so consider your strengths and weaknesses before choosing your putter. The Odyssey Series is considered by most to be the best when it comes to feel and handle of the putter for all ranges of putts. On the other hand you have the NIKE Blue Chip Series, which is known for its forgiveness. Allowing you to put at a correct speed and approach. Leaving you with a easy second putt. If needed.

Even though the Odyssey Series usually is a larger price tag. It is the #1 putter in terms of sales and positive comments on its performance. If you are able to pay the dough for a putter model that is proven. Do it. The Odyssey Series model isn’t just for experts, it’s also recommended by most novice golfers as well.

If you are looking for the best mid-ranged priced putter. Look no further than the NIKE Blue Chip Series. With a lot of the benefits as the Odyssey Series. The NIKE series offers you a great feel, that won’t leave you worrying about budget. But with a brand name like NIKE, it gives you a model to show off to other golfers.

Both of these putters are great for any putt. But are most renown for their forgiveness with mid-long range putts. As most golfers new and experienced know. The approach is the most challenging aspect of golf. With one of these top quality putter models you will begin to enjoy the challenge of the approach. And start to shed strokes off your round of golf.

The tournament will be played at the beautiful course the Prim Valley Golf Center in Las Vegas. This tournament is compared to the Skins tournament because each shot is critical for success. The precision of each player has to be great because you can win money at each hole. Amateur players will be able to compete in this tournament and can be competing for the $750,000 dollar prize. The tournament will be on national television on channel NBC. The tournament is simple each player just like poker, has to put up money for each hole. The stakes can be really high because if you lose that hole you will lose your money. If the golfer’s tee shot is a good one for the player he can raise his ante, call his ante or fold if it is a poor shot. The wagers on each hole have to be chosen carefully be cause if your confidence goes down you might make crucial mistakes. In this tournament every shot counts because it could be your last shot. When the player that has no chips left he will be eliminated from the tournament. This is a new way at looking at golf. Each shot is as important as putting up the money for your shot it is like you are playing poker or chess. The winner of each group will go onto the next round until he is the last one standing.

There will be a maximum of 180 golfers at this tournament and there will be 3 rounds of golf. The golfer who wins the first prize will win $250,000 and has to defeat 14 other golfers head to head over the 3 rounds. If he does that he will win the money. The registration fee is a scheduled one. The golfer will have to put up $10,000 to buy into the tournament. They can win their registration fee back if they can advance to the second round of the tournament. Each golfer has to go through a strict accreditation process so they can see what handicap they are. As they know their handicap, this will pit them against golfers who are at the same level as them. This tournament is so unique because of the large amount of money they can win, but also because the way they have to play. This tournament is just like playing poker as well as playing chess each move is critical.

This tournament almost like a big party, the golfers will also have a banquet and have 3 days in Las Vegas. The World Series of Golf will have all of your favorite golfers, plus amateurs there as well, the televised event will be on NBC Saturday June 23rd and the 24th.

If you are new to the game of golf, you are probably still unaware of how many different clubs, balls, and tees there are available, and which ones you need. You also may be confused about what to buy and how much you should spend on it. You are going to see clubs that range in a very wide price range. Since you are new to the game, and your clubs might take somewhat of a beating, don’t go out and buy the most expensive set. On the other hand, you don’t want to look silly on the golf course with a lousy set of clubs that don’t allow you to perform well, or spend money on clubs that wont last. This means you are going to have to find something in the middle.

All of the more popular brand name clubs will have starter sets, but they are going to be expensive. When you go in to the golf store or a sports goods store, talk with the assistant or golf pro and explain to them that you are a beginner. They will show you the brands that are cheaper in price, but still decent in quality. Some stores like Golf Galaxy even have their own brand of clubs. The store may even allow you to check a set out and see if you like them. This way you may be able to try a couple different sets. You want a set that has all of the clubs that you are going to need, and most started sets come in a bag with 10 clubs. You will also want to have them sized correctly so they work properly for you.

So how much should all of this cost you? Around $250.00-$350.00 will get you a good set that isn’t pricey, but is still made with good quality and will have some longevity. You don’t want to spend a large amount of money because other than clubs, there are still things that you are going to need like shoes, balls, tees, and gloves. Once you get your set, head to the driving range and comfortable with them. Since you didn’t splurge on your clubs, you’ll still have money to play!
